Students sharing their original mobile phone videos to counteract cyber-bullying
A partnership
This Anti-cyber-bullying project has been a partnership between
- SA Department of Education and Children's Services (DECS)
- Australian Network for Art and Technology (ANAT) and
- Flinders University
funded with a Commonwealth grant as part of National Safe Schools Week.
The idea for the project was generated by Alison Wotherspoon, head of Screen Production from Flinders University in South Australia
Aims
The workshop aimed to counteract cyber-bullying by giving young people the skills to make their own creative content for mobile phones, tell their stories and present solutions to bullying. Participants wrote, shot, edited and encoded an animation for mobile phones with the subject of 'a creative way of dealing with bullying'.Copyright | Disclaimer | Privacy
